2. Our Services
Between Us provides personalised English tutoring services, including:
- One-to-one English lessons (online)
- Exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge, Matura, 8th grade)
- Business and Medical English
- English competition preparation
- General English lessons for all ages
3. Booking and Scheduling
- Consultations: Free 20-minute consultations are available to discuss your learning goals.
- Lesson Booking: Lessons are booked through Calendly or by direct arrangement.
- Lesson Duration: Standard lessons are 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
- Lesson Frequency: We recommend weekly lessons for best results, but this is flexible.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Lesson Rates: Prices start from £20 per hour. Exact rates depend on the type of lesson and package.
- Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, PayPal, and other methods as agreed.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due before the lesson unless otherwise arranged.
- Packages: We offer lesson packages at discounted rates. Packages are non-refundable but can be transferred.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Free Cancellation: You can cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson will be charged at 50% of the lesson fee.
- No-Show: If you don't attend the lesson without prior notice, the full lesson fee will be charged.
- Lateness: Lessons will end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, the lesson will still finish at the agreed time.
- Emergency Situations: We understand emergencies happen. Please let us know as soon as possible.
6. Lesson Conduct
- You agree to attend lessons on time and be prepared.
- You will not record lessons without prior consent.
- We reserve the right to terminate a lesson if the student is disruptive or inappropriate.
- All materials provided during lessons are for your personal use only.
7. Our Guarantee
- First Lesson Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with your first lesson, let us know and we'll make it right.
- Exam Success: We are committed to helping you achieve your exam goals, but results depend on your effort and commitment.
8. Technology and Online Lessons
- Lessons are delivered via video call (Zoom, Skype, or other agreed platform).
- You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a quiet environment.
- We will provide a meeting link and instructions before the lesson.
- Lessons may be recorded for quality assurance purposes (with your consent).
9. Intellectual Property
All lesson materials, resources, and content provided by Between Us are the intellectual property of Karolina and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the best tutoring experience, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Our liability is limited to the cost of the lesson in question.
